Cllr Fraser Macpherson supports National Pet Week

Dundee LibDems have today (Saturday 29th April) have lent their support to National Pet Week, which runs until 7th May.

National Pet Week helps to create awareness of the benefits of companion animals and the need to look after them responsibly. Schools play an important role in National Pet Week, and the National Pet Week website has a whole area entirely dedicated to teachers and pupils, called "Teacher's Pet".

Cllr Fraser Macpherson, Dundee LibDem Group Leader said, "We fully support the aims of National Pet Week in encouraging responsible pet ownership. Sending the message of the need for good preventative healthcare, grooming and feeding of pets is important. We wish the week every success in promoting this message."
