Dundee Liberal Democrats support Green Tax Switch Action Week

Dundee Liberal Democrat Councillor Helen Dick today (Tuesday 29th August) welcomed the LibDems' Green Tax Switch Action Week proposals.

Helen said, "Unlike New Labour and the Tories, Sir Menzies Campbell's Liberal Democrats have a firm plan to tackle climate chaos. We will cut income tax and switch to green taxes on pollution instead. That way, the more you choose to switch to greener living the more money you will save."

In the week 21st-29th October, Liberal Democrats all round the UK are organising their own Green Switch Campaigns locally.

Chris Rennard, the party's Chief Executive, said, "This is another innovative use of technology which demonstrates our commitment to using the internet to help our members campaign effectively - and to engage with the wider public."
